Goldman Sachs (GS) shares fell 3.6% after the bank posted a fall in net revenue versus the prior-year period.
Bank of America (BAC) shares started the day down 0.7%. The bank reported a rise in both earnings and revenue.
Bank of New York Mellon (BK): The custody bank’s shares were off 0.5% after it posted an 11% increase in revenue. Its shares had dropped Monday after results from rival State Street.
Johnson & Johnson (JNJ): The conglomerate’s shares fell 3.3%. The company raised its full-year sales and earnings outlook and announced a dividend increase.
Ericsson (ERIC): American depositary receipts fell more than 6% after the Swedish telecom manufacturer said customers in early 5G markets have slowed down deployment.
