Stocks moved lower around midday Friday!

A week of economic data has damped the blockbuster rally that started the year, with all three major indexes in the red for the day and week so far.

The S&P 500 was down about 0.9%, according to FactSet.

The Dow industrials dropped 0.2%. while the Nasdaq Composite fell 1.3%, and the Dow is on pace to close below its 50-day moving average for the first time since Jan. 20, according to Dow Jones Market Data.

DoorDash: The delivery company said revenue increased last quarter, as consumers spent more on deliveries of food and household essentials even as prices rose and more restaurants reopened. DoorDash stock gained about 5% premarket.

Moderna: The drugmaker said an experimental flu vaccine had mixed results in a large clinical trial. Moderna stock fell more than 5% ahead of the opening bell

Tesla: The electric-car maker is facing a vehicle recall and a complaint from U.S. factory workers who said dozens of staff were fired in retaliation for a union drive. Shares fell 5.7% in regular trading Thursday, and stood 0.9% lower premarket Friday.

Deere: Quarterly profit at Deere more than doubled, as higher prices and strong demand for farm and construction equipment lifted sales by nearly a third. Deere stock gained more than 2% premarket.
