Adobe (ADBE): The software company’s stock rose 3% in morning trading after Adobe posted second-quarter earnings that topped analysts’ expectations.
iRobot (IRBT): Stock jumped 19% after the U.K. competition regulator approved a $1.7 billion takeover by Amazon.com (AMZN).
Micron (MU): Shares fell 1.8% after the memory-chip company said it would invest about $600 million to expand in China, about a month after Beijing blacklisted it.
Cava (CAVA): The restaurant chain’s stock declined over 8% after roughly doubling in Thursday’s market debut.
Nikola (NKLA), Lordstown Motors (RIDE): The electric-vehicle makers’ stocks rallied, building on Thursday’s surge that came as investors return to some speculative favorites.
