BofA Clients: Sixth Straight Week of U.S. Equity Inflows

Bank of America clients were net buyers of U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds for a sixth consecutive week, the firm reported Tuesday.

Clients bought a net total $4.2 billion of U.S. stocks and ETFs last week, according to BofA.

The inflows came as the market rallied, with the S&P 500 returning 4.7% last week.

  • Corporate clients and hedge funds were the biggest net buyers.

Meanwhile, institutional clients were net sellers last week.The technology sector had the biggest inflow, while financials saw the largest outflow.
